About Corthos AI

The domain-intelligence layer for AI.

What We Build

Corthos is a domain-intelligence layer. We ingest large, fragmented datasets — public today, proprietary tomorrow — and turn them into a clean, connected, AI-ready foundation: a friendly entity model, deep metadata and lineage, time series, configurable cohorts, and per-entity ranking and scoring against those cohorts.

That foundation typically represents the 80% of a vertical AI product that nobody wants to build. We build it, maintain it, and expose it so your team can focus on the product on top.

Why It Matters

General-purpose LLMs work in one direction: ingest billions of pages of text, extract patterns, and generate language back. The signal they reason on is whatever the open web happened to publish — diluted, unverified, and unstructured.

We work the other direction. We start at the source, identify the patterns and relationships in the data itself, and expose them in a form AI models can use directly. Skip training your AI on watered-down summaries of your domain. Feed it the underlying truth — with definitions, lineage, and cohort context attached.

Where We Focus

We start vertical, not horizontal. Education, employment, and geography are live domains today — each dense with public data, full of cohorts that actually matter, and ripe with AI use cases that fail without grounded context. Healthcare is next, with the same playbook applied to provider, payer, and outcome data.

Beyond that, the model extends naturally to other rule- and data-heavy domains where context, lineage, and cohort comparison matter more than raw rows.

Where the name comes from

Corthos is Core + OS — the core operating layer between your raw data and the AI built on top of it. Six systems orbit that Core, and a single API surface delivers what comes out. The name isn't decoration; it's the architecture.
